Dr Valeria Parlatini is a clinical lecturer and child and adolescent psychiatrist at King's College London and South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust. Her research aims at the identification of predictors of mental health outcomes that can be used to personalise and improve clinical care. She received three international awards, including the Young Scientist Award at the World Congress on ADHD. Recently, she has been awarded the Academy of Medical Sciences Starter Grant to investigate the impact of the Covid pandemic on the mental health of children and young people with pre-existing mental health conditions.

Dr Anna Price is a research leader in health service provision for people with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism, with a wider research focus on healthcare transitions, and on equitable access to health and social care for people with mental health needs. She holds a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded Three Research Schools Mental Health Career Development Fellowship, leading the ‘Managing young people with ADHD in Primary care’ (MAP) study, and is a co-located between the School for Primary Care Research (SPCR), and the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Research Collaboration (ChYMe) at the University of Exeter Medical School. She previously led the mapping strand of the NIHR funded ‘Children and adolescents with ADHD in transition between children’s services and adult services’ (CATCh-uS) project. Dr Price is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds expertise in a range of applied health research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative methodologies, clinical trial management, and evidence syntheses, with additional strengths in public and patient involvement and engagement (PPIE), and collaborative research methods.

Jenny is the Assistant Director for Clinical Practice in the London Borough of Southwark Children & Families Service. She is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience leading NHS and local authority clinical services within CAMHS, Children’s Social Care, Youth Justice, and the CYP Secure Estate, and is the lead developer of the STAIRS framework used in a number of local authorities and in the secure estate. In her current role she oversees clinical staff embedded within each social work and management team throughout Southwark’s Children & Families department; social work staff embedded within SLAM inpatient units; and the Pause project for women who have had their children removed, as well as helping ensure NHS and private mental health providers are working well with the local authority to meet the needs of Southwark’s children. She is Southwark’s Virtual Mental Health Lead for our Looked After Children. Jenny is also twice Past Chair of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Clinical Psychology.
