Aim and audience

To provide Consultant General Anaesthetists, particularly those with on-call responsibilities, with a practical and comprehensive webinar covering the full range of obstetric, paediatric and obesity anaesthesia procedures that we need to be familiar with, especially when on call at the DGH.

This webinar is aimed at Consultant General Anaesthetists, particularly those with on-call responsibilities based at the DGHs, who are having to undertake obstetric and paediatric procedures and the anaesthetising of obese patients. It presents delegates with an opportunity to have a comprehensive review of these challenging topics that would allow them to gain a fuller understanding of recent advances in anaesthetic practice

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Delegates will be provided with a comprehensive overview of new/recent evidence (and insights into the implications for practice) that will allow them to identify skills and knowledge gaps, if any, relevant to their practice and clear ways by which these can be addressed. Very importantly, delegates will gain greater confidence in their current practice and/or identified areas of practice in need of review or change.

Lectures will be delivered by a faculty of established, practicing consultant anaesthetists with long and extensive experience in advancing the knowledge and skills of peers nationally and internationally.
