Booking information
All bookings for Infomed Research and Training webinars must be made via the website. Please visit the event webpages and select ‘Book online’. You can then add the course to your cart and complete the booking with payment. You will receive a confirmation by email, and another email with your fee receipt. Please contact us if you do not receive these emails within one hour of completing your booking/payment.
Booking Terms and Conditions
All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- 1. Webinar fee includes access to the live webinar day and catch-up services to webinar recordings where possible and included in the fee.
- 2. All bookings must be made via the website to ensure that you automatically receive your webinar access details, payment receipt and other relevant information.
- 3. The completed online booking together with full payment must be submitted in advance of the webinar to Infomed Research and Training Limited to secure a place.
- 4. The course fee must be paid in full by credit/debit card at the time of booking. Submission of booking information, online, constitutes a legally binding agreement, including these terms and conditions.
- 5. Infomed cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of booking information. Please check that you have received this no later than an hour of your booking.
- 6. Infomed on-demand (catch-up service) bookings are full and final and are not eligible for a cancellation or refund.
- 7. In case of experiencing any delays in receiving booking instructions after payment has been made, you should contact Infomed at webinars@infomedltd.co.uk
- 8. When booking, both a private and a work email address must be provided, this will ensure that you receive webinar joining instructions to both addresses up to 5 working days before the webinar.
- 9. Written cancellations received at least 4 weeks before the webinar date will be accepted, and the payer will be refunded the fee paid minus an cancellation charge of 30% of the total fee inc VAT.
- 10. Written cancellations received between four and two weeks before a webinar will be accepted, and the payer will be refunded 50% of the total fee inc VAT.
- 11. Infomed regrets that no refunds can be made for cancellations less than 2 weeks before the webinar, for whatever reason, although substitutions will be accepted at no extra charge if notified in writing 5 or more working days before the event.
- 12. All requests for cancellation (and refund) should also specify if the fee paid has/has not been refunded by your employer or trust
- 13. Further to your attendance and full online completion of the webinar evaluation you will receive an attendance certificate, with CPD points where applicable
- 14. Following unexpected or unplanned events outside the control of Infomed, Infomed reserves the right to make alterations to the webinar programme, date, faculty, delivery method and timings.
- 15. In the unlikely event of the webinar being cancelled (not postponed), a full refund will be made to the payer. Infomed shall not be liable for any financial loss incurred by the delegate
- 16. In the unlikely event of the webinar being postponed or the dates being changed, for whatever reason, Infomed shall not be liable for any financial loss incurred by the delegate
- 17. Views expressed by faculty are their own. Infomed cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker or tutor at the webinar or in any material provided by them to delegates.
- 18. By submitting booking details, delegates agree to allow Infomed and organisations associated with the webinar to contact them regarding their services or products. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications should email courses@infomedltd.co.uk. The name, job title and workplace of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which could be made available to event sponsors.
- 19. The course and associated websites may link to other websites provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which Infomed takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to the Infomed course website.
- 20. It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the course. Infomed cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal or work related property.
Course access and technology requirments
- 1. To have full access to the webinar please ensure that you have a good internet connection, a reliable Wi-Fi and a good camera and microphone. Direct connection to the to the webinar should be attained through a standard internet connection and not via a VPN. To ensure good and constant reception, the use of a hotspot (eg. mobile internet) should be avoided.
- 2. There is no need for any special software, the webinar runs entirely on a web browser. You need to ensure that you have a device (8GB ram or more) capable of running a web browser (Chrome v45+, Safari v9+, Firefox v41+, Edge v79+) and a suitable internet connection of at least 20Mbps download. Please check at www.fast.com on the device and connection that you will be using on the webinar day.

- 3. Our Webinar platform (Cisco Webex) does not require any installation so it will work on NHS and other employer computers provided the requirements above are met and the browser installed allows website to run.
- 4. Infomed cannot accept liability for the loss/lag/slowness of your internet connection on the webinar day. Nor can Infomed accept liability for connections made to our webinar service via workplace or personal VPNs or hotspots.
Internet speed test

To join a course with a smooth experience, your internet connection must be stable, not connected to a VPN and of at least 20Mbps download.
You must test from:
- the location that you intend the see the course from;
- withing the location, if using Wi-Fi, the room or department area that you intend to view the course from to ensure a good signal
- if connecting from home, a computer that is not connected to a workplace VPN
